Selecting the appropriate cylindrical ultrasonic sensor begins with the housing size, required sensing range, output configuration, and available mounting space.

Microsonic mic+

mic+ is the feature-rich M30 family. Five operating-range classes extend from shorter-distance sensing through long-range measurement. Integrated TouchControl and an LED display allow setup and measured-value indication directly at the sensor. Switching, analogue, combined-output, and selected IO-Link configurations are available.

Microsonic mic

mic uses a rugged all-metal M30 housing and metal connector for applications where mechanical durability is especially important. Five operating-range classes provide broad distance coverage, with single or dual PNP switching outputs and analogue versions available.

Microsonic lpc+

lpc+ reduces the housing size to M18 while providing IO-Link and flexible output configurations. Straight and 90° versions allow the sensing direction to be matched to available mounting space. Depending on the model, configurations include two Push-Pull switching outputs or Push-Pull switching combined with analogue output.

Microsonic nero

nero provides a straightforward M18 platform with PNP, NPN, 4–20 mA, or 0–10 V output options. Straight and 90° versions are available for applications requiring conventional axial sensing or a side-facing sensing direction.

Microsonic pico+
