FLEXAquick® RQS
Medium-Duty Conduit Clips with Integrated Hinged Cap
FLEXAquick® RQS conduit clips are one-piece, medium-duty mounting clips with an integrated hinged cap for secure corrugated conduit routing on machinery, automation equipment, robotics systems, and other industrial installations.
Corrugated conduit snaps into the clip, and the hinged cap closes over the conduit to provide greater retention than an open light-duty clip while keeping the mounting assembly compact and easy to service. A molded internal rib engages a conduit corrugation to help hold the conduit in position and provide axial / longitudinal strain relief along the conduit run.
RQS is well suited to applications where a self-contained clip-and-cap mounting solution is preferred over the separate RQH conduit clip and RQHD snap-on cap arrangement. For applications requiring substantially greater structural retention, P-Clamps / wraparound clamps or heavy-duty conduit clamps may be more appropriate.
All of the products from this family have the following specifications:
- Material: Polyamide (PA)
- Flammability Rating: HB [UL94]
- Temperature Range: -40°C to +120°C
- Available Colours: Black and grey

How to Choose FLEXAquick® RQS Conduit Clips
Choose the RQS clip that matches the outside diameter (OD) of the corrugated conduit being mounted.
Key selection factors include:
- Conduit OD: Match the RQS clip size to the outside diameter of the conduit.
- Retention requirement: Choose RQS when greater conduit retention is required than an open RQH light-duty clip provides.
- Integrated cap: RQS uses a one-piece hinged-cap design, eliminating the need to select and install a separate clip cap.
- Installation environment: Consider vibration, conduit movement, mounting accessibility, and the level of mechanical support required.
- Service access: The hinged cap can be opened for conduit access while the mounting clip remains installed.
- Higher-load applications: For installations requiring greater structural retention, consider P-Clamps / wraparound clamps or heavy-duty conduit clamps.
Frequently Asked Questions About FLEXAquick® RQS Conduit Clips
What is the difference between RQS and RQH conduit clips?
FLEXAquick® RQH is an open light-duty conduit clip designed for compact, accessible routing. RQS is a medium-duty one-piece clip with an integrated hinged cap that provides greater conduit retention while maintaining convenient access for installation and service.
What is the difference between RQS and RQH with an RQHD cap?
RQH used with an RQHD snap-on cap provides a light-duty two-piece clip-and-cap arrangement with added retention. RQS combines the clip and hinged cap into a single medium-duty component, making it a self-contained mounting solution for applications requiring stronger retention.
How do I choose the correct RQS size?
Select the RQS clip according to the outside diameter (OD) of the corrugated conduit. The clip size should match the conduit OD so the conduit seats correctly and the internal rib can engage the conduit corrugation as intended.
How does RQS provide conduit strain relief?
A molded rib inside the RQS clip engages one of the grooves in the corrugated conduit. This mechanical engagement helps resist longitudinal movement and provides axial strain relief against stretching or movement along the conduit run.
When should I choose a P-Clamp or heavy-duty conduit clamp instead of RQS?
Choose a heavier mounting solution when the installation is exposed to higher vibration, greater mechanical loads, larger conduit sizes, or conditions requiring stronger structural retention. Depending on the application, P-Clamps / wraparound clamps or heavy-duty conduit clamps may be more appropriate.
