The Flexa FDW-VA 10131801002, formerly 0131.801.002, is a 2.5 x 3.1 mm highly flexible small-diameter conduit made from an open stainless steel spiral helix. It is designed for compact wire, cable, sensor lead, fiber optic bundle, and OEM-built custom conduit applications

With a 2.5 mm inside diameter and 3.1 mm outside diameter, this is the smallest FDW-VA size and is suited to very fine wires, miniature sensor leads, compact fiber optic bundles, and other applications requiring a very small stainless steel helix.

FDW-VA can be used for flexible routing, reinforcement, and light-duty mechanical protection where a continuous closed conduit wall is not required. It can also be purchased as the stainless steel core for an OEM’s custom conduit and combined with the manufacturer’s own fiberglass braid, PVC, silicone, PU, or other outer layers.

Features an operating temperature range of -200°C to +600°C for the unjacketed stainless steel helix.
