Washdown Stainless-Steel Ultrasonic Sensors for Food, Beverage & Pharmaceutical Applications
Microsonic pms ultrasonic sensors are designed for hygienic and washdown applications requiring non-contact distance, level, or object detection in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and other sanitary processing environments.
The pms family uses a smooth stainless-steel housing with no crevices or dirt edges, a PTFE-protected ultrasonic transducer, and an FKM sealing O-ring for resistance to cleaning agents and disinfectants. The hygienic design supports intensive cleaning, while selected switching-output versions provide IO-Link.
Four operating-range classes are available from 150 mm to 1,000 mm, with maximum ranges extending up to 1,300 mm depending on the model. Analog versions are available with 4–20 mA or 0–10 V outputs.
