X-Profile Reference Beams
The Dietz TCP Tool Center Point sensors are compact devices designed for calibrating the reference point of a robot tip or tool. These sensors incorporate a pair of precise laser beams positioned in a cross pattern at 90 degrees, X-shape. Accurate calibration co-ordinates are signaled for the x, y and z axes of the robot tip and tooling as the tip is passed through each of the laser beams. Two beam sizes are available, 40 mm and 70 mm. Both connect via an M8, 4-pin connector.
