FLEXAzip
Single-slit conduit kit for open-ended cable protection, repair, and fast bundling
View ProductsSplit corrugated conduit is used where cables, wire harnesses, or pre-terminated assemblies need to be enclosed, repaired, or protected without disconnecting existing wiring. IBIS Electro-Products supplies single-slit conduit options for open-ended cable protection and ROHRflex-DUO two-piece conduit assemblies for in-place wire harnesses and pre-terminated wiring.
These split conduit products are used in industrial retrofit, cable repair, rework, machinery wiring, and routing applications where cable protection must be added after cables are already installed. Selection depends on whether the cable run is open-ended, whether the harness is pre-terminated, and whether openable conduit fittings or locknuts are required.
Choose ROHRflex-DUO conduit when wiring is already installed, cable ends cannot be disconnected, and openable conduit fittings are required. DUO conduits are designed to work with the GMK-DUO-M hinged locknut and the RQG-Duo-M openable hinged straight fitting for secure conduit termination on existing wire harnesses.
Choose FLEXAzip or single-slit split conduit when conduit can be installed over open-ended cable runs and the DUO hinged locknut and fitting system is not required.

ROHRflex-DUO conduits are designed to work with special openable conduit termination components for existing wiring and pre-terminated harnesses, including:
These components are designed to work together with ROHRflex-DUO conduit where the conduit must be installed around existing wiring without disconnecting the harness.
FLEXAzip and single-slit split conduits are not used with the DUO hinged locknut and hinged fitting system. They are intended for open-ended, non-terminated conduit protection.
When selecting a split conduit product, first determine whether the cable run is open-ended or already terminated. Then compare the required conduit material, fitting method, cable access needs, and installation environment.
Cable termination — choose ROHRflex-DUO when cables or harnesses are already terminated and cannot be disconnected. Choose FLEXAzip or single-slit split conduit for open-ended cable runs.
Fitting requirement — use DUO conduit assemblies when openable fittings and locknuts are required for secure termination. Use single-slit conduit where simple cable enclosure or bundling is the priority.
Material requirement — choose PA6 where durable nylon protection is needed and PP where a lightweight polypropylene option is suitable.
Access and repair needs — split conduit products are useful for retrofit, rework, repair, and applications where cable protection must be added after installation.
Installation environment — verify conduit material, conduit size, bend behavior, and fitting compatibility based on the application.
Choosing the right split conduit depends on whether the cable run is open-ended or pre-terminated, whether openable fittings are required, and which conduit material and size fit the application. IBIS Electro-Products can help you compare FLEXAzip, ROHRflex PA6-LG, and ROHRflex-DUO options for your application.
