AIRflex-KUW-PVC-AS
Reinforced PVC-sheathed conduit for flexible, liquid-tight cable protection
View ProductsAIRflex® spiral non-corrugated conduit is used for specialized cable protection applications where flexibility, compressibility, liquid-tight performance, smooth conduit surfaces, or easier cable pull-in are important. AIRflex conduit families include reinforced plastic-sheathed conduits, smooth-wall conduits, PVC sleeves, steel-braided protective sleeves, and food-equipment conduit options.
IBIS Electro-Products supplies AIRflex® conduit families from FLEXA for automation systems, conveyor equipment, food and beverage machinery, medical technology, and special machine construction. Use this page to compare AIRflex conduit options by construction type, sheath material, surface profile, and required protection level.

AIRflex conduits are used with AIRflex plastic fittings and, for certain applications, select metal body fittings.
The two main plastic fitting options are:
Select metal body fittings are also used with certain AIRflex conduit types.
AIRflex conduit is used in specialized cable protection applications where flexibility, compressibility, liquid-tight performance, or smooth conduit surfaces are important.
KUW uses a spring steel wire helix with plastic sheathing. K is a full-plastic conduit with a smooth inner surface. GRS has smooth inner and outer surfaces for easier cable pull-in and easier cleaning.
AIRflex conduit is commonly used with USK compression-style plastic fittings and LKI rotatable plastic fittings. Selected metal-body fittings may also be used for certain AIRflex conduit types and applications.
Choosing the right AIRflex® conduit depends on conduit construction, sheath material, surface profile, cable pull-in requirements, liquid-tight performance, abrasion exposure, cleaning needs, and fitting compatibility. IBIS Electro-Products can help compare AIRflex conduit families for your application.
