US-P
Heavy-Duty PG-Thread Fittings for Flexible Conduit Termination
FLEXA US-P fittings are straight metal-body conduit connectors with an external PG thread for terminating compatible flexible conduit at enclosures, junction boxes, machinery, and industrial equipment. Their nickel-plated brass construction provides a durable metal-threaded connection and supports bonding continuity where required by the correctly assembled conduit system.
US-P fittings are available in a broad range of PG thread and conduit sizes for selected FLEXA non-liquidtight metal, liquidtight metal, and liquidtight all-plastic conduit families.
Choose the US-P fitting by compatible conduit family, conduit size, PG thread size, and required ingress-protection level.

How to Choose a FLEXA US-P Fitting
Select the correct US-P fitting by matching all four of the following:
- Conduit family — confirm that the fitting is approved for the selected FLEXA conduit construction.
- Conduit size — match the fitting to the conduit’s nominal size and outside diameter.
- PG thread size — select the thread required by the enclosure, junction box, or equipment entry.
- Ingress protection — confirm the IP rating of the complete fitting-and-conduit combination for the installation environment.
For applications requiring EMC performance, strain relief, an inner thread, a swivelling thread, or hygienic construction, select the corresponding special straight metal fitting family.
Frequently Asked Questions About US-P Fittings
What is a FLEXA US-P fitting?
A FLEXA US-P fitting is a straight nickel-plated brass conduit connector with an external PG thread. It is used to terminate compatible flexible conduit at machinery, enclosures, junction boxes, and industrial equipment.
Which conduits work with US-P fittings?
US-P fittings are available for selected FLEXA non-liquidtight metal, liquidtight metal, and liquidtight all-plastic conduit families. Compatibility depends on the exact fitting size and conduit construction, so the conduit family and diameter must be confirmed before selection.
What IP rating do US-P fittings provide?
Available US-P fitting combinations range from IP40 to IP67. The achieved rating depends on the selected fitting, compatible conduit, proper assembly, and installation conditions.
How do I choose the correct PG thread size?
Match the fitting’s PG thread to the threaded entry on the enclosure or equipment. Also confirm that the same fitting is sized for the selected conduit family and conduit diameter.
Need Help Selecting a FLEXA US-P Fitting?
IBIS can help identify the correct US-P fitting based on conduit family, conduit size, PG thread, required ingress protection, and installation conditions.
