The Diablo Controls XLP-8-100 kit includes the compact, low-power XLP-8 single-channel vehicle detector and the innovative magnetometer “Free-Exit Probe” with a 100-foot cable. The sensor probe, is a small pipe-shaped device measuring approximately 4.5 inches by 1 inch, and is designed to be buried in the ground to detect vehicles.

No time-consuming loop to cut! Simply drill a 1″ hole for the sensor, and make a single 1/4″ groove cut for the cable. Seal it and you’re done.

With its exceptionally low idle current of less than 1 mA , the XLP-8 is perfect for solar-powered and remote installations.

The XLP-8 is easy to install using the plug-in style wiring terminal strip and can be quickly configured with a 4-position DIP switch. It operates on 8-30 Volts AC/DC.
