The Microsonic esp-4/Empf/M12/3CDD/M18 is the receiver component for compatible esp-4 ultrasonic label, splice and web-break sensing systems. It is intended for replacement or maintenance applications where the transmitter is already installed and only the receiver requires replacement.

This version uses an M12 sensing head with a swappable ultrasonic transducer and operates with a 20–30 mm transmitter/receiver spacing. It provides two PNP switching outputs for label/splice detection and web-break monitoring. Teach-in allows the sensor to be adapted to different materials and applications, while the compact sensing head provides additional mounting flexibility where installation space is limited.
