dbk+4/Empf/KU/3CDD/M18 Microsonic Double Sheet Detector Receiver, Cuboidal Housing, 20–60 mm Range, 2 × PNP Outputs

The dbk+4/Empf/KU/3CDD/M18 is the receiver component for compatible Microsonic dbk+4 ultrasonic double-sheet detection systems. It is intended for replacement or maintenance applications where the transmitter is already installed and only the receiver needs to be replaced.

Unlike the standard cylindrical M18 receiver, this version uses a compact cuboidal KU housing, providing an alternative mounting arrangement where a cylindrical receiver is less suitable. It operates with a 20–60 mm transmitter-to-receiver spacing, with an optimal spacing of 40 mm ±3 mm.

The receiver evaluates the ultrasonic signal passing through the sheet material and provides separate switching outputs for double-sheet and missing-sheet detection. It provides 2 × PNP switching outputs, with Teach-in for adapting the sensor to the application. The receiver should be matched with the correct compatible dbk+4 transmitter and system configuration.
