SPR
Flexa SPR Highly Flexible Small Diameter Metal Conduit
Flexa SPR is a highly flexible, strip-wound galvanized steel conduit for compact wire, cable, sensor lead, and fiber optic bundle protection where a small bend radius and metallic construction are required.
The unjacketed S-profile construction provides flexible mechanical protection in tight routing areas while keeping the conduit compact and easy to route in small assemblies, instruments, machines, and precision equipment.
Best choice when compact metal conduit protection and high flexibility are needed, but an outer jacket is not required.
Compared with SPR-PVC, SPR is the simpler unjacketed option. Compared with SPR-VA, it uses galvanized steel rather than stainless steel.
All SPR small diameter conduit sizes share the following specifications:
- Material: Galvanized Steel
- Temperature Range: -50°C to +250°C
- Ingress Protection Class: IP40
- ID Range: 3.0 mm to 10.0 mm

Key SPR Advantages
- Highly flexible S-profile metal conduit for compact routing
- Galvanized steel construction for general mechanical protection
- Unjacketed design for applications where liquidtight protection is not required
- Available in small internal diameters for fiber optic bundles, sensor leads, and compact wire protection

Applications for SPR Small Diameter Conduit
SPR is used where compact wire, cable, sensor lead, or fiber protection requires a highly flexible metal conduit without an outer jacket.
Typical applications include:
- fiber optic bundle protection
- sensor lead and measuring equipment protection
- compact machine wiring
- instrument and precision equipment wiring
- optical and laboratory equipment
- small wire bundle routing inside machinery
Frequently Asked Questions About SPR Small Diameter Conduit
What is SPR small diameter conduit used for?
SPR is used for compact wire, cable, sensor lead, and fiber optic bundle protection where high flexibility and metallic mechanical protection are required.
When should I choose SPR instead of SPR-PVC?
Choose SPR when an unjacketed galvanized steel conduit is suitable. Choose SPR-PVC when the application needs an added PVC jacket for additional exterior protection.
When should I choose SPR instead of SPR-VA?
Choose SPR for general galvanized steel protection. Choose SPR-VA when stainless steel construction is required for corrosion resistance, cleaner environments, or higher material requirements.
Is SPR liquidtight?
No. SPR is an unjacketed strip-wound metal conduit with IP40 protection. For jacketed protection, consider SPR-PVC or SPR-VA-PVC.
